The application to Solitarie is listed as "Windows and Mac friendly" on the official site. Yet, on the Internet it seems the application does not work properly. I downloaded the software and ran it as is to make sure it would work well on my computer, but it did not. After trying a lot of things, I finally got it to work.
The download was available for free on the site. After finding the download it was easy to install and run. After that I had a full featured web-based calculator program. The application was easy to use and very well laid out. I was also happy to see it included some functions I missed in the computer version. Although it did not have an arithmetic function, the graphing capabilities and other functionalities were nice additions to the program.
Applications such as this are important in helping people understand basic math. If someone is having trouble learning math on their own, they should not worry about how to use the calculator program. This program can help them learn, by learning how to do the same calculation calculations on the web. It also gives them the ability to do their calculations on their own computer. Another reason to download this application is to give your child a way to keep in touch with friends and family by showing them exactly how to do their math on the web.
